The educational purpose of the faculty of economics is to acquaint students with the economic aspects of modern society, and to teach them analytical technique to help them grasp the essence of economic problems. Our educational programs are designed to facilitate students' ability to anticipate economic trends and to devise solutions to changes. The undergraduate program provides a solid background for the study of economics such as general education, foreign languages, and mathematics. Seminar classes are designed to imbue students with the ability to identify problems and to develop solutions to these issues by focusing on specific subjects. The primary objective of the graduate program is to train students as economic analysts or research economists. In the process, students also acquire the background and skills necessary for careers as university teachers and as practitioners of economics.
